Vein Treatments

LASER THERAPY FOR LEG VEINS 

When treating leg veins an ultrasound assessment by our physician is required.  Sclerotherapy (injection therapy) is the front line treatment. When the physician has determined the injections have been successful he may wish to have your treatment finished with laser therapy.  Laser therapy for leg veins are most effective for the small tiny vessels which are ineffectively treated by injection due to the small structure left to absorb solutions.  Several treatments MAY BE  necessary to complete the "cosmetic" appearance of the leg(s).

LASER THERAPY FOR FACIAL VEINS 

Many people have vascular faces.  This is the appearance of tiny red vessels usually found around the nose and cheeks and sometimes the chin.  The cause for this is usually a combination of heredity and sun damage.  

Using Nd yag (1064) laser therapy the vessels can be treated leaving the face less red and reactive.  

Depending on the extent of damage 3-5 sessions is often required.
