FAT TRANSFER 

Autologous Fat transfer 

Fat transfer is a procedure that plumps up creased, furrowed or sunken facial skin.  Fat transfer to the face and facial area works best on thin, dry, light-colored skin.  It adds fullness to faces that have lost volume and can be used to add fullness to lips. 

 

The procedure uses one's own harvested fat from the abdomen, thighs or other donor sites.  The selected fat is then processed into syringes and then immediately injected into the desired areas for treatment. 

You are given an injectable anesthetic during the procedure and typically will have some facial swelling and bruising which could last a week or more.  

The advantage to fat transfer is the longevity of the results, lasting years or longer.
